On 2 and 16 May 2018, from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm Marco Trivellato, sound engineer, composer and artistic producer of television series, movies and documentaries, gave a masterclass at METS-Conservatorio di Cuneo entitled “Aesthetics and technique of multichannel cinema audio: popularizing the image with the sound”, held at the METS studios of the former Cantore barracks in Via Pascal, Cuneo.

Thus, Marco Trivellato himself presented his masterclass:
"This training, combining speculation and pragmatism, is based on an original organization of the materials offered by the various fields of aesthetic and technical investigation of cinema, in order to capture the multichannel sound as an element of dialectical synthesis in the filmic form. The topics addressed will range from the positioning and calibration of the 5.1 speaker layout to the metadata function in Dolby Digital, from the HRTF for the multi-channel to the relationship between sound and cinematographic genres”.
