Alena holds PhD degree in Fine Arts by the Polytechnic University of Valencia, a Master in Architecture (Inzinier architekt) at the Fakulta Umení, Technická Univerzita v Košiciach, Slovakia as well as the Bachelor (Bakalár) degree. She also graduated from the Curso del bienio especialistico di scenografia en la Accademia di Belli Arti Catania ,Sicilia-Italia. She has lectured at San Gregorio de Portoviejo University, Manabí. Ecuador. She serves as Associate Editor of International Journal of Art, Culture and Design Technologies (IJACDT).
