Marco Barberis

Marco Barberis is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Electronic Music Composition at METS-Conservatorio di Cuneo, under the guidance of Gianluca Verlingieri, Francesco Canavese and Julian Scordato. He has been featured many times both as composer and electronic music performer in the Artistic Concert Seasons of the Cuneo Conservatory as well as in other events scheduled in national and international venues (e.g. ZKM Karlsruhe, to name but one), with projects ranging from acousmatic multichannel music to live-electronics works (recently he worked on a vocoder-based algorithm to process vibrations captured on metal bars). For almost ten years he has been the electric bass player of the Italian punk-rock band Litio.
